In the power of children's and adolescents' imaginations lies the ability to change the way they experience the world. The metaphor a story delivers is a message sent straight to the heart. It bypasses the conscious mind and patterns of behavior on its journey to the interior world of their minds and hearts. Stories mirror their inner problems, doubts, fears and frustrations common to the process of growing up. While children and adolescents may be stuck in a particular way of seeing themselves, or trapped in a repetitive behavior, once they have seen their dilemma reflected in a story, it is as if an inner door opens and they can walk through it into a new way of perceiving themselves and the world. Growing up is hard work. Stories can help along the way, and you can be the teller of those tales for the next generation.

Editorial : About the Author Marianna deCroes, a mother, retired grade school and high school teacher, has been creating and telling stories for over 40 years. She has developed a workshop that blends storytelling and child development, and has conducted workshops in the US, Spain, Portugal, India and the UK. This is her first book.

When I was DM for this adventure, my players were quite formidable high-level (12th level) planar characters, mainly because we were using many rules from the player's option set. I fault it only for under-representing the incredible art and technique of the Japanese woodcut masters.

Illustrations abound, demonstrating nearly every point that Griffiths brings up. Bodio is such a fine (and funny!) storyteller that he makes one of the world's most exotic places accessible without making it a bit less exotic. He's lied to everyone (including himself, convincing himself that it's not an affair if he's not sleeping with other women) his entire life. Dr. I can't wait to read the next one both to see the end to their quest and to see the relationship that is coming next.. Ditto Paul Van Zale, Steve Sullivan, and Cornelius, all of whom leap off the page and seem right at home in the America and England of the early 20th century. This book is a great way to introduce new printlovers
