I sympathize with Barry - he had a lot of difficult decisions to make - but he is absolutely the villain of the story. He is expelled from college, gets fired from one job and loses commissions because of his absolute refusal to compromise his principles. Along with being the founder of Objectivism, she also wrote Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead, two of the 20th Century's most famous novels.

The Fountainhead takes place in the 1920s and 1930s, and is about Howard Roark, a modernist architect in a society that prefers buildings that look like Gothic cathedrals or Greek temples. Very authentic stories from the author about his experiences and those of his fellow aviators in the unit he served in. Kasl's work validated my strong feelings. Barry, Morris, and their wives were born, educated, and raised in Antigua, then moved to England. It is hard to go through a divorce; to write an honest and thoughtful book about the feelings and actions leading up to one takes great coura
